Partnering With Key Players in the Utility Field Extends Itron's Knowledge

Demands on the utility industry are ever-increasing and resources to support these demands are sometimes stretched thin. In an effort to combat these challenges and in keeping with the theme that "the sum of the whole is greater than its parts," Itron believes in partnering with key players in the energy and water marketplace.

These global partnerships extend Itron's knowledge and in the end, lead to improving customers' "meter to cash" and energy

management business processes. The focus of the partner program is to combine and leverage our expertise in order to provide customers with the knowledge to make informed decisions regarding the future of their organization.

Among these alliances are key consultants and solutions integrators like IBM and Accenture, software partners such as SAP, and technology partners such as Microsoft and HP. Through their successes in this sector, they have become "innovators," "thought leaders" and "trusted advisors" for many of the executives within the global energy-producing and consuming companies, which are the same clients as Itron.
