Itron Announces Its Addition to Russell 1000 Index

Itron has been added to the U.S. large-cap Russell 1000 Index as Russell Investments reconstituted its comprehensive family of global indexes. Membership in the Russell 1000, which remains in place for one year, is based on membership in the broad-market Russell 3000 Index. The stock also was automatically added to the appropriate growth and value indexes.

“The addition of Itron to the Russell 1000 and the Russell Mid-Cap

Index is a milestone for us and is a reflection of our stock performance and investor support,” said LeRoy Nosbaum, chairman and CEO. “We are honored to be included among the well respected companies in these indexes.”

Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for both passive and active investment strategies. An industry-leading $4.4 trillion in assets currently are benchmarked to them.
