Join us in Dallas: General Session Speakers Announced

This year marks the first in which one word, connection, gives meaning to the entire Itron Users' Conference. Connection as a concept is intricately woven through every detail of the conference; nowhere is this truer than the General Session, held Monday, October 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. It all starts with a rousing introduction from LeRoy Nosbaum, Itron chairman and CEO, and Russ Vanos, vice president of Itron marketing. You'll also hear from Michael Paulsen of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, this year's Itron Users' Conference Advisory Board chairperson.

And it doesn't stop there. The highlight of the general session is a panel discussion featuring:

  • Commissioner Marsha Smith, President, National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners
  • Robert C. Skaggs, Jr., President and CEO, NiSource Inc., and Second Vice Chair of the American Gas Association
  • Richard Anderson, Ph.D., Senior Advisor to the U.S. Conference of Mayors Urban Water Council
  • Jeff Sterba, Chairman, President and CEO, PNM resources, the parent company of PNM, Texas-New Mexico Power, First Choice Power and Avistar; and President, Edison Electric Institute

These charismatic industry leaders will speak to the changing dynamics of the utility marketplace and address specific aspects that are keeping them up at night. Staying with the theme of the conference, they'll circle back on how connections made at the Itron Users' Conference can help solve these dilemmas and help everyone to sleep a little easier at night.

To take part in this informative and intriguing session, be sure and register for the Itron Users' Conference. Sign up before September 12 and save $200 on your registration fee.
